The log geometry day is a broad recurring seminar aimed at mathematicians based in the Netherlands with an interest in log geometry. The current organizers are Tommy Lundemo and Sara Mehidi. Our hope is that the seminar will eventually facilitate interaction between researchers from different fields that use techniques from log geometry.
The first meeting is scheduled for April 9th, 2026 in Room 1.36, David de Wiedgebouw. The schedule is below.
| Speaker | Time | Title |
|---|---|---|
| Laurent Smits | 13:15 - 14:00 | Short introduction to brave new log geometry |
| Jorre The | 14:15 - 15:00 | Moduli of logarithmic curves and their tropicalization |
| Steffen Sagave | 15:30 - 16:30 | Introduction to logarithmic topological Hochschild homology |
